Dr. Glenmore Hendricks

Dr. Glenmore Hendricks is nurse practitioner (NP) at the Riverside Medical Clinic. He earned his Masters of Science degree (MSN) as an adult primary care Nurse Practitioner in 2004 from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. Over the last 15 years, Dr. Hendricks has practiced in both internal medicine and urgent care settings. Throughout his 18-year nursing career he has worked as a critical care nurse (including trauma, surgical and medical care), and has held leadership positions in both hospital and Ambulatory Care departments. He is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP) where he served on the board as Treasurer, and president for the local Inland Empire Chapter. As chapter president, he and his team pursued active participation in community services, improve student recruitment, and engage state legislative members on behalf Nurse Practitioners. On a state level he served as a member of the health policy and practice committee, which advocate and oversees legislations impacting NP practice in California. As a Jamaican by birth, he enjoys giving back to this community and have served on several medical missions to Jamaica. He recently published a research in The Journal of the National Black Nurses Association on the Patient-Centered Medical Home Model and Diabetes Outcomes. He's an expert peer reviewer for the Journal for Nurse Practitioners and the American Journal of Managed Care.
