Dr. Christine Taheran is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Women Health Care Nurse Practitioner (NP). She has been an NP for over 20 years. Dr. Taheran is also an attorney, and she has been practicing as a nurse attorney with experience in worker's compensation, healthcare, and licensing defense.

As part of the doctoral quality improvement project, she has developed, educated, and evaluated the Integrated Diagnostic Practice Guideline's effectiveness. The project examined the contributing factors to providers' diagnostic errors. This project assists all medical providers: physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to critically analyze patients during the diagnostic process to minimize risks of diagnostic errors.

Dr. Taheran is also an adjunct faculty at the American University of Health and Sciences, where she teaches in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. With the passion of advocating for healthcare consumers and providers, Dr. Taheran conducts educational materials through videos and podcasts on relevant health-related topics.
